English Translation:
She said she’s seen many like you,
I said I’m a brand — there can be no copy.
Urdu:
چپ رہنا بھی آتا ہے ہمیں، اور سنانا بھی آتا ہے
تم اچھے ہو تو ٹھیک ہے، ورنہ آئینہ دیکھنا بھی آتا ہے

Chup rehna bhi aata hai hamein, aur sunana bhi aata hai
Tum achhe ho to theek hai, warna aaina dekhna bhi aata hai
Hindi:
चुप रहना भी आता है हमें, और सुनाना भी आता है
तुम अच्छे हो तो ठीक है, वरना आईना देखना भी आता है
English Translation:

کہ میرے پاس بھی ہے آئینہ، دیکھاؤں کیا
اور جسے تم کہتی ہو معیار یہ بازار ہے
کہ پردے ہیں آنکھوں پہ جن کی، اٹھاؤں کیا

Nikaal rahi ho aap nuqs, meri zaat se
Ke mere paas bhi hai aaina, dekhaun kya
Aur jise tum kehti ho mayar yeh bazaar hai
Ke parde hain aankhon pe jin ki, uthaun kya

निकाल रही हो आप नक़स, मेरी ज़ात से
के मेरे पास भी है आईना, देखूँ क्या
और जिसे तुम कहती हो मायर यह बाज़ार है
के पर्दे हैं आँखों पे जिन की, उठाऊँ क्या

You point out flaws in my very being,
But I too have a mirror—shall I show it to you?

اور میں عام ہوں، مجھے خاص نہ کر
کیا کہا محبت ہے؟ ہاہا، بکواس نہ کر

Aur main aam hoon, mujhe khaas na kar
Kya kaha mohabbat hai? Haha, bakwaas na kar

और मैं आम हूँ, मुझे ख़ास न कर

ہم اُنہیں کچھ نہیں سمجھتے
جو خود کو بہت کچھ سمجھتے ہیں

Hum unhein kuch nahi samajhte
Jo khud ko bohat kuch samajhte hain

हम उन्हें कुछ नहीं समझते
जो ख़ुद को बहुत कुछ समझते हैं

اہمیت تو ہم بس تمیز میں رہنے والوں کو دیتے ہیں
