پرواہ تیری ہی کرتے ہیں میرے یار
فکر تو مجھے اپنی بھی نہیں ہے
Roman Urdu:
Parwah teri hi karte hain mere yaar,
Fikar to mujhe apni bhi nahi hai.
Hindi:
परवाह तेरी ही करते हैं मेरे यार,
फिकर तो मुझे अपनी भी नहीं है।
Translation:
I am concerned only about you, my friend,
I don’t even worry about myself.
Urdu:
ہم مر بھی گئے تو ہماری یادیں تم سے وابستہ رہے گی دوست
تم یہ مت سمجھنا کہ دوست بنایا ہے صرف وقت گزاری کے لئے
Roman Urdu:
Hum mar bhi gaye to hamari yaadein tum se wabasta rahegi dost,
Tum ye mat samjhna ke dost banaya hai sirf waqt guzari ke liye.
Hindi:
हम मर भी गए तो हमारी यादें तुम से वाबस्ता रहेगी दोस्त,
तुम ये मत समझना के दोस्त बनाया है सिर्फ़ वक़्त गुज़ारी के लिए।
Translation:
Even if we pass away, our memories will remain connected to you, my friend,
Don’t think that friendship was forged just for passing the time.
Urdu:
پتا نہیں جن سے دوستی اچھی ہوتی ہے
انکے ہی شہر الگ کیوں ہوتے ہیں
Roman Urdu:
Pata nahi jin se dosti achi hoti hai,
Unke hi shehar alag kue hote hain.
Hindi:
पता नहीं जिन से दोस्ती अच्छी होती है,
उनके ही शहर अलग कुएं होते हैं।
Translation:
I don’t know with whom friendship is good,
Why are their cities separate?
Urdu:
محبت سے بہتر ہوتی ہے دوستی
اگر دوست میں محبت ہو تو
Roman Urdu:
Mohabbat se behtar hoti hai dosti,
Agar dost mein mohabbat ho to.
Hindi:
मोहब्बत से बेहतर होती है दोस्ती,
अगर दोस्त में मोहब्बत हो तो।
Translation:
Friendship is better than love,
If there is love in friendship.
Urdu:
لوگ پیار میں پاگل ہوتے ہیں
اور ہم دوستی میں پاگل ہیں
Roman Urdu:
Log pyaar mein pagal hote hain,
Aur hum dosti mein pagal hain.
Hindi:
लोग प्यार में पागल होते हैं,
और हम दोस्ती में पागल हैं।
Translation:
People go crazy in love,
And we are crazy about friendship.
Urdu:
اور بہت دکھ ہوتا ہے جب کوئی دوست
نیا دوست ملے اور بات کرنا ہی چھوڑ دے
Roman Urdu:
Aur bohat dukh hota hai jab koi dost,
Naya dost mile aur baat karna hi chhod de.
Hindi:
और बहुत दुख होता है जब कोई दोस्त,
नया दोस्त मिले और बात करना ही छोड़ दे।
Translation:
And it hurts a lot when a friend,
Meets a new friend and stops talking.
Urdu:
کون سے دوست، کون سی دنیا
مطلبی دوست، مطلبی دنیا
ساتھ ہیں تمہارے مطلب کو
تم جیسے گرائے گئے دنیا
Roman Urdu:
Kon se dost, kon si dunya,
Matlabi dost, matlabi duniya.
Sath hain tumhare matlab ko,
Tum jaise giraye gaye dunya.
Hindi:
कौन से दोस्त, कौन सी दुनिया,
मतलबी दोस्त, मतलबी दुनिया।
साथ हैं तुम्हारे मतलब को,
तुम जैसे गिराए गए दुनिया।
Translation:
Which friends, which world,
Selfish friends, a selfish world.
With you are your selfish intentions,
A world that falls like you.
Urdu:
کہ منزل مل جانے سے دوستی بھلا ئی نہیں جاتی
اور ہمسفر مل جانے سے بھی دوستی مٹائی نہیں جاتی
میرا یار تو خُدا نے تحفے میں دیا ہے مجھے
ایسی قیمتی چیز تو زندگی سے ہٹائی نہیں جاتی
Roman Urdu:
Keh manzil mil jane se dosti bhulai nahi jati,
Aur hum safar mil jane se dosti mitai nahi jati.
Mera yaar to Khuda ne tohfay mein dia hai mujhe,
Aisi qeemti cheez to zindagi se hatai nahi jati.
Hindi:
के मंज़िल मिल जाने से दोस्ती भूलाई नहीं जाती,
और हम सफर मिल जाने से दोस्ती मिटाई नहीं जाती।
मेरा दोस्त तो भगवान ने मुझे एक तोहफा में दिया है।,
ऐसी क़ीमती चीज़ तो ज़िंदगी से हटाई नहीं जाती।
Translation:
That which is found at the destination is not forgotten in friendship,
And the friendship formed during the journey is not erased when paths meet.
My friend is a gift from God,
Such a precious thing cannot be removed from life.
Urdu:
دوست مصروف ہو گئے اتنے
میں نے راز دشمنوں سے بول دیئے
Roman Urdu:
Dost masroof ho gaye itne,
Maine raaz dushmano se bol diye.
Hindi:
दोस्त मसरूफ हो गए इतने,
मैंने राज़ दुश्मनों से बोल दिए।
Translation:
Friends have become so occupied,
I have revealed secrets to enemies.
Urdu:
لوگوں نے بنا رکھے ہیں ہزاروں دوست
ہم نے ایک کو ہی رکھا ہے ہزاروں کے برابر
Roman Urdu:
Logon ne bana rakhe hain hazaron dost,
Hum ne ek ko hi rakha hai hazaaroon ke barabar.
Hindi:
लोगों ने बना रखे हैं हज़ारों दोस्त,
हम ने एक को ही रखा है हज़ारों के बराबर।
Translation:
People have made thousands of friends,
We have kept one equal to thousands.
Urdu:
یہ نہ پوچھیں کہ رات کے اس پہر ہم اب کدھر چل پڑے
دوست ہوتا ہے وہ ہے جو صرف ایک آواز پر چل پڑے
تیری باتوں سے ثابت ہوا ہے کہ تیرا راستہ ٹھیک ہے
ہر حوالے سے تیرے ساتھ ہیں اب ہم تو جدھر چل پڑے
Roman Urdu:
Yeh na poochhein ke raat ke is pehr hum ab kahin chal pare,
Dost hota hai woh hai jo sirf ek awaaz par chal pare.
Teri baaton se sabit hua hai ke tera rasta theek hai,
Har hawale se ab hum tere saath hain to jidhar chal pare.
Hindi:
ये ना पूछें के रात के इस पहर हम अब कहीं चल पड़े,
दोस्त होता है वह है जो सिर्फ़ एक आवाज़ पर चल पड़े।
तेरी बातों से साबित हुआ है के तेरा रास्ता ठीक है,
हर हवाले से अब हम तेरे साथ हैं तो जिधर चल पड़े।
Translation:
Don’t ask where we are headed at this hour of the night,
A friend is someone who walks on just one call.
Your words have proven that your path is right,
With every reference, we are with you, so wherever you go.
